These are “landing pages” that were used in conjunction with QR Codes to give the prospect exactly the information they are looking for—and be mobile-friendly. Then, they are directed to the ‘main’ web site if they desire additional information. Landing Pages are also used to give things away to get a prospect’s contact information.
