Visual Impact Systems created a trade show booth for Vision Specialists of Michigan for their future expos. The display components are from Expand International. The displays are “MediaFabric” pop-ups. They allow portability, are quick to set up, easy to use, and have the ability to easily change the graphic ‘panel’ in the future. We also provided a “BrochureHolder” for displaying their brochures, and a “PodiumCase” and a “PodiumBox” for shipping the displays and their marketing materials—which then can be transformed into a ‘podium/kiosk’ at the show. We also provided them with an Expand “MonitorStand” that would hold a monitor (that they would rent at the show) that would play their overview video. The booth was designed to be modular, so they could use only the components they needed for any particular show.

Visual Impact Systems helped Entertainment Publications with a trade show display for an expo focused on fundraising. The display system is from Expand International—the “InfinitaSystem”—and was a great solution for their needs. The aluminum extrusion system has a very ‘high-end’ look, is very durable, and the display can easily be expanded by adding additional components in the future. Visual Impact Systems helped Applied Tech Systems with a trade show display that they will use for a variety of shows in the future. A product from Expand International, the “BannerStand”, is a non-retactable display that was perfect for their needs (since Visual Impact Systems customized the system by swapping out the graphics for Velcro ‘panels’). Separate graphics were then ‘attached’ to the displays with Velcro ‘hook’, allowing ATS to ‘mix-and-match’ the graphic panels and customize the message for each show they attend. Since the displays ‘attached’ to each other with “edge magnets,” ATS can create a display that is one, two, or three ‘panels’ wide (as well as being able to add more panels in the future). All this allows great portability, a quick to set up, ease of use, and future flexibility. We also provided a “PodiumCase” for shipping the display to the show, which transformed into a ‘podium/kiosk’ at the show (which also has shelving inside it to allow for storage of literature and examples at the show).

Visual Impact Systems helped Nifco America with creating a portable ‘exhibition’ that they will set up in a building on the ‘campus’ of many of the major automotive manufacturers. This allows the executives and engineers to have direct interaction with Nifco engineers in a relaxed atmosphere, while being more convenient and productive since they don’t have to travel to a convention center and spend time away from the office. We provided a “BigFabric” pop-up display, “QuickScreen 3” retractable displays, “BannerStand” non-retractable displays, and a “PodiumCase” shipping case, all from Expand International. We also created a customized banner stand with Velcro fabric (instead of a graphic), so they could change/customize the graphics for each different customer they exhibit for. In addition to the displays, we constructed two interactive kiosks using products from ELO, BrightSign, and McRae Imaging, then produced a sequence of videos showing Nifco capabilities. Coordinated table covers and customized promotional items were also provided.

Before they went to their first customer, we provided them with the 3D rendering of the layout (and a floor plan to use for set up), to show them what their exhibition would look like and how it would fit into the customer’s atrium space. (Real exhibition set-up shown below).

Visual Impact Systems helped Jemms-Cascade (Jemms) with their expansion into the European market with a brand-new trade show exhibit that premiered at the 33rd annual “Motek International Automation Trade Fair” in Stuttgart, Germany, a few weeks ago.

As you can see from the above overview picture of the show, the competition for being noticed was fierce. Since this was Jemms’ first foray into international competition, we suggested the aluminum extrusion system from AGAM. It would give Jemms a ‘premium’ image, and would allow them to ‘test’ the receptiveness of the European market with a smaller exhibit now, that could be easily expanded in the future. The AGAM system has served the display industry for over 25 years, with a system that is equipped with a pre-installed connector that essentially needs just a few “hex-key” tools to put it together. AGAM offers a wide variety of extrusions and accessories that can create most anything one can imagine.

To communicate our concept for the exhibit to Jemms, we provided them with detailed plans, elevations, a 3D rendering of what their booth ‘frame’ would look like, and how it would fit into the booth space they had.

To make the exhibit a bit more flexible—so it can be used at smaller shows—we used (5) “MediaScreen XL” retractable bannerstands from Expand International in-between the ‘towers’, and a double-sided MediaScreen 2 out by the aisle to draw visitors into the booth. To have a ‘focus’ for visitors and a place to store promotional materials, we provided an Expand “PodiumCase” which transformed into a shipping case that carried the director’s chairs and the table.

We were also helped by many quality suppliers. The graphic artwork for the bannerstands and signs were provided by Axis CrossMedia. The plastic panels were provided by Total Plastics, Inc. The “Dekor” lighting was provided by Light Source, Inc., and the “Switch” LED bulbs by Batteries Plus Bulbs. The laminated shelving was provided by Kurtis Kitchen and Bath Centers. The Ultraform shipping cases were supplied by Abex, and the foam inside them by the Foam Factory. The shipping crates were supplied by Action Wood 360. The director’s chairs were supplied by Optima Graphics, and the table base by The Webstaurant Store. The signage was output by That Color.
